Answer: Jantar Mantar is a gigantic observatory construction mainly aimed at time tracking, tracking celestial bodies and their movements.
It was built in 17th century by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur.
It consists of huge circular and triangular structures built in various positions and angles.  
There are 5 cities (Delhi, Jaipur, Ujjain, Mathura and Varanasi) in India where Jantar Mantar was built
